The Passenger Shipping Association (PSA) has announced the ongoing rise in ferry travel passengers. A total of 28.36 million people took ferries to various destinations in the first nine months of 2010 marking a 1.2 per cent increase on the same period in 2009, according to the latest figures by PSA. It also claimed that cars also increased by the same percentage to 6.48 million with the most significant rise up 5% to 115,870 in coach numbers.
